There are two Coal Drams that have been left in the valley. There is one that has been left as a memorial ( Next Page ) and there is also another which is not so easy to find.

This last coal dram has been left at the head of the valley as a reminder of the past but if you look closely in the valley there are also some other clues to the valleys past mining heritage.

The pictures below have been taken in a smaller valley which is an offshoot of the main valley and show the discarded remains of two engines that were almost certainly used to transport coal out of the valley.
